Frames and Decks
Sand
the mating edges of F1, F2 and the breasthook halves so that
the parts fit together with no gaps. Lay the parts on the
building board and join them with Slow CA. Be careful to align
the ends of these parts so they are flush.

Roger's Notes:
When I glued my parts together, I ensured they didn't move while
they dried.
Cut
two pieces of 3/8" triangle stock to fit above the notches in
F1. Apply Slow CA to each piece and glue them flush with the
tops of the notches, as shown here and on the plan.

Hold the edge of
the sub-deck against the top of one notch in F2, as shown. Using
a sharp pencil, mark the position of the underside of the deck
on F2, as shown. Make this same measurement and mark on the
opposite notch in F2.
Step 21a
If you plan to use the Midwest MEPS-III Marine
Electric Motor, cut out the template from your
Supplemental Instructions and place it in the appropriate place
on F2. Drill two 1/8" holes into F2 to allow you to mount
your motor at a later time. If you plan to use a different
power source, skip this step.
